Vacon X Series

The Vacon X Series drives are the toughest AC drives on the planet. They are built from the ground up to withstand not only the knocks, bumps and vibrations of an industrial workplace but also a washdown with directed water at 1000 PSI from only 6' away (up to 30 HP). Larger models support a washdown of 1000 PSI from 12" away - NEMA Type 4X models only.

Robust & Reliable

Every X Series drive is rated for use indoors or outdoors and can operate in harsh environments included extreme weather conditions including low temperature operation of -10C. The X Series can operate down to -10C by activating the 'Arctic Mode' feature which engages the built-in integrated brake-resistor. The brake-resistor acts as a heater, keeping the internal components within operating temperature.

The ability to be install X Series drives directly outside reduces the installation cost and offers greater flexibility over where the drive can be mounted.

Simple & Flexible

The X Series drives are easy to program and operate. The drives use a two row, back-lit LCD for local parameter and programming display. The keypad has large, well marked buttons that control all aspects of the drive operation and programming.


Features & Model Comparison

The X4 and X5 models offer the same input and output, power range and enclosure ratings. All drives are packed with advanced power control features making them all suitable for stand-alone applications to advanced system-level controls.

The X5 models support additional programming logic capabilities, 25-step sequencing vs 9-step sequencer in the X4, real-time clock for data logging, a USB port, fully coated PC boards for added protection and support for add-in communication cards.

Program Sequence Controller
